2011 until now: Consultant General Surgeon at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón. From 2015 to 2022 assigned to the Colorectal Surgery Unit with special dedication to the Emergency Surgery. From 2022 assigned to the new Trauma and Emergency Surgery Unit
- Former secretary of the Trauma and Emergency Section from the Spanish Surgeons Society (2015-2018)
- Spanish Surgeons Society delegate at the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery Advisory Council since Jan 2020
- Chair of the Advisory Council of ESTES since May 2022
- Co-founder of the ESTES Gender Equity initiative
- European Journal of Trauma and Emergency Surgery reviewer since 2018
- Author of more than 60 original scientific papers in national and international peer reviewed journals and 15 book chapters.
- Invited speaker and panellist at more than 75 national and international medical conferences
- Assistant and principal investigator of many funded research projects including two H2020 EU funded projects (NoFEAR and NIGHTINDALE)
- DSTC and DATC courses (IATSIC) instructor since 2010
